NDR – Non-Delivery Report for Simplified Management of Non-Delivery

Non-delivery rate refers to your orders that were not delivered to the customer’s doorstep due to some reasons.

NDR or non delivery rate of the order refers to those orders in an eCommerce business that are not delivered due to their destination due to any reason. Non-delivery rate can have a bad impact on businesses due to many reasons. For example, non delivery rate can lower the profit margins of sellers and incur additional expenditure on shipping. An order might be undelivered due to reasons like, incorrect customer address, customer refused to take the delivery, customer wasn’t present to receive the delivery etc.

The goal of any business must be to reduce the non-delivery rate of orders. However, until they know the exact reason why orders are being non delivered, it is difficult to take any step. Using Shiprocket’s logistics platform, this problem is sorted and eCommerce sellers can find out which of their packages are marked NDR along with the reason behind them.
