Here’s a quick roundup of everything we launched in December 2025 – from improved webhook granularity and new courier partners to cross-border expansions and smarter checkout capabilities. A busy end to the year across shipping, intelligence, and growth tools.
We’ve enhanced tracking webhooks to provide more granular visibility into shipment movement and returns. Location and RTO AWB details are now available, with latitude and longitude appearing in the scans array when GPS data is shared by the courier. If GPS data is unavailable, values are omitted or default to 0.
For courier partners with RTO tracking enabled, awb contains the forward AWB and return_awb_code contains the return AWB, with scans covering only return journey events. This gives webhook integrations a cleaner separation between forward and return tracking data.
Two new courier partners are now live on Shiprocket. Velocity supports Same-Day Delivery (SDD) and Kuik NDD supports Next-Day Delivery (NDD), adding more options for sellers with time-sensitive orders.
Weight discrepancy notifications have been revamped for clearer, more consistent communication. Emails are now sent from an official Shiprocket email ID and are triggered only after verification by the Weight Excellence team. Each notification includes a detailed attachment with AWB number, applied weight, charged weight, excess weight, action taken, and reason for the discrepancy.
Multiple enhancements to return management this month:
Two new interventions to improve pickup reliability – a WhatsApp-based escalation flow after failed pickup attempts, and a pickup-focused recommendation engine to improve performance in stressed pin codes.
Hyperlocal courier type is now supported in the courier rule engine, available across all rule parameters and consistent with how SDD and NDD rules are configured. This gives sellers more precise control over courier selection logic within Shiprocket Quick.
The Seller Panel ticket creation experience for international shipments has been redesigned. There are now two clear categories – ShiprocketX and ShiprocketX Tech – ensuring accurate routing to the right Operations or Tech team, and faster issue resolution.
India Post is now available for cross-border shipments to the USA on ShiprocketX, with real-time duty and tariff calculation via APIs and clear cost visibility on the Ship Now screen.
Users can now generate international shipping quotes on CargoX without logging in. Enter pickup and delivery details, get an instant quote, and proceed – lowering the discovery and onboarding friction for new sellers. Try Now →
Bank offers via PayU are now available at checkout. UPI and wallet-based bank offers are enabled, improving prepaid order share, with rewards credited via PSP apps like Google Pay and PhonePe.
Google Ads purchase tracking now supports Enhanced Conversions and flexible Item ID formats, improving attribution accuracy and match rates for sellers running paid campaigns.
Bring Shiprocket’s delivery intelligence directly into your website or app. The Sense API suite lets you detect risky COD orders, validate customer addresses, promise accurate delivery dates, and check serviceable pincodes in real time. Try Now →
